Fashion notes, pics, zingers, and HaloHints for life. Have a go.
Now, Halo, you shouldn't be showing pics like that without telling people about the hellish climate and the fact that you can't swim half the time because of the stingers? ;)
</jealousy>
Townsville is the place our number 3 son first lived when he went to Oz. He said nobody ever talked about the weather because it was the same every day.
Next year we're having a family reunion in Cairns. The Swedes are organising it because 2011 is the year for a number of momentous family anniversaries and occasions. I don't know why they've picked Cairns - but at least it will be winter so hopefully I'll be able to cope with the heat.
I could never live there, the humidity would kill me outside of June-August.
I don't know, Halo, it looks a little dark. You might want some more windows to let in the light.
I think one big hailstorm and it would be cheaper to rebuild than replace all the windows.
Install gorilla glass!
Turn 'em into giant translucent touchscreens.

Fantastic! I think the two blue-headed birds would make a good banner.
The current banner is a shot of my daughter but it's been up for a while so, yeah, the lorikeets can get a guernsey.
Where is Townsville? Nice pad, BTW...
Beautiful spot.
Beautiful spot for sure...
Nice digs! And locals!
I could handle the humidity there.
Townsville's in Northern Queensland, Australia, Hedge.
Gorgeous place, but watch out for the salties, snakes, and stingers in the water.
Townsville is fairly well up on the right hand side, looking at your screen.

Now that would make a salubrious base for a fortnight's scuba diving!
