Now, Halo, you shouldn't be showing pics like that without telling people about the hellish climate and the fact that you can't swim half the time because of the stingers? ;)

Townsville is the place our number 3 son first lived when he went to Oz. He said nobody ever talked about the weather because it was the same every day.
Next year we're having a family reunion in Cairns. The Swedes are organising it because 2011 is the year for a number of momentous family anniversaries and occasions. I don't know why they've picked Cairns - but at least it will be winter so hopefully I'll be able to cope with the heat.

Gorgeous place, but watch out for the salties, snakes, and stingers in the water.
