I'd rather take the two draft picks.
Why? I have more faith in our scouting staff to get players from other teams. The signability issue ensures our drafts suck ass.

Hendry just pulled the trigger on another craptastic trade. "Mouthbreathin' Mikey" to SD for C Rob Bowen (<Barrett) and some A-baller OF. Couldn't even get anything out of their nice bullpen.

The Cubs' bullpen has been pretty good lately. They were fantastic last night. Maybe we should try to get someone from the Cubs bullpen. Pods for Marmol?

Who is to say that their two prospects are better than what we already have or what we could get out of the draft? Besides, they could die the day after the trade in an auto accident.

To answer your question, everyone whom we've drafted in the last 4 years has sucked, and it doesn't look like they're going to try to make an effort to improve.

I am just not sure about who is right and who is wrong. Personally I'd take the 2 draft picks. To me its like buying a used car. You just never know what you are getting.
