- Federal officials confirmed that Lee is the creator of this http://SavethePlanetProtest.com, which detail his complaints against Discovery. Among them was this one that seems to be aimed at the overpopulation of the planet: "All programs on Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants and the false heroics behind those actions. In those programs' places, programs encouraging human sterilization and infertility must be pushed. All former pro-birth programs must now push in the direction of stopping human birth, not encouraging it."

I used to work across the street from that building. Look out my 6th floor office window and stare right at the Discovery Building. Nice view. I also interacted with that guy once, if you count not taking a leaflet he thrust at me interaction.
Lee picketed the building, handing out manifestoes and stuff. They suffered from poor grammar. They were also batshit crazy. The last time he did it that I know of, after eight days or so he posted some leaflets declared a moral victory and then decamped.
The highlight of the coverage here on NPR: officers saying the suspect was "displaying a wide range of emotion". I laughed when I heard it, in spite of myself. Now that I realize who the guy was, it's an understatement.

Every day at lunch people would pour out of the office buildings nearby and roll right through the plaza area at the tip of the Discovery Building on their way to all the eateries over on Fenton. When that guy was out there the crowd just rolled right by him, like he was invisible in plain sight.

I always felt sorry for the street vendor that set up there when Lee was out picketing. Poor guy just wanted to sell his gourmet hot dogs.
